• May the force be with your slides: These tips on how to nail a technical presentation used Princess Leia as the presenter...love that.
• Hello, Captain Obvious: Finally, the explanation of mansplaining you've always wanted.
• Did you miss? This week, the blog looked at collections of speeches (and one memoir) to add to your speaking shelf, and Famous Speech Friday shared how Elizabeth Warren was silenced in the U.S. Senate (but gave her remarks anyway). You can learn from her persistence!
• Join me in London April 3 for my one-day workshop, Creating a TED-Quality Talk. It's a small-group session that will demystify how to prepare such a talk, whether you're aiming for a TEDx conference or everyday presentations.
• The first TED talk I ever saw was this one by the great Hans Rosling, who died last week. No one could make data more beautiful to look at, nor deliver it with more enthusiasm.
• About the cartoon: It's called "Zip it!" by Ann Telnaes of the Washington Post. Sums up last week for eloquent women...
